This image shows the behind the scenes of the Festival of Parintins, a huge Amazonian opera that happens every year, in June, in the small city of Parintins, in the Amazon river side. There, two rival groups, the Bois-bumbás Garantido e Caprichoso, face eatch other in a celebration of dance, music and refined scenarios, where Amazonian legends and myths are re-create, exalting the aboriginal and caboclo culture. It's the biggest popular party from the north of Brazil, attracting visitors from everywhere in Brazil and from other countries.
