Luis is one of the founders of 4SEE agency. He was born in 1971 and worked in Expresso newspaper, where he covered subjects related with politics, sport and society, and also conflicts as the East Timor crisis and the civil war in Guiné-Bissau.

In 2000 he integrated the team of the travel magazine "Volta ao Mundo" as photographer and Photo Editor. During five years he photographed reportages about places such as New Zealand, Panama, Mozambique, Brazil, Spain, Dubai, Thailand and Cape Vert.

In April 2005 he left the magazine to dedicate all his attention to 4SEE agency recently founded, where he develops his personal projects in social documentary, travelling and daily life, and through which he intends to help the Portuguese photojournalism to have international recognition.

Since May 2006 he's also the official photographer of Portugal's President.
