I've been asked if I don't find it hard to photograph in New York, if
I am not afraid of taking images that are cliched since it's one of the
most photographed cities in the world. Sure it is one of the most
photographed cities in the world but at the same time it's a city which
offers endless oportunities, stories and ideas. Frankly spoken I am not
afraid of photographing images other photographers took. Everyone has a
different view and a different imagination. I am shooting what I see, I
am shooting what I am interested in. My subjects may have been
photographed previously but if so they might have been captured in
another way. The wheel can not be reinvented all the time so why should
photography be? [...]
